12 Real Military FRH (MRE) Heaters per pack! These are NOT knock-offs or "commercial" heaters.
These REAL Military FRH (Flameless Ration Heaters) are designed specifically to be used with your MRE's to heat them anywhere, anytime. By just adding water to the heater and inserting the sealed pouch of food into the bag, you will have a 100+ degree meal in minutes! These heaters are exactly what our troops are using in the field!
No stove or fuel is required when you use the FRH heaters - just add water and watch the heater heat up immediately. You can use them to warm up MRE meals, water (in a separate beverage bag), or even your hands! In harsh, cold environment, you can just melt some snow and add it to the heater to have an instant heat.
You will find these heaters to be:
- Simple and easy to use
- Lightweight and easily storable
- Non-toxic, biodegradable, and disposable with regular household trash
- Made of magnesium, iron, and sodium chloride
- Made in the USA
Directions on how to use FRH heaters:
- Tear off the top of the MRE Heater Bag
- Place your MRE entrée (or anything else that is water tight and needs to be heated) into the bag.
- Pour a small amount of water (a couple of tablespoons) into the bag until the water reaches somewhere between the water line marks near the bottom of the heater bag.
- Hold the heater level for a minute so the chemicals in the heater pad soak up the water.
- Fold the top of the bag over the MRE
- Prop up the bag holding your MRE (or other item) using a rock or other item to keep your Heater Bag on a slight incline, and the heat is on!
- After 10 minutes, the contents are very hot!
IMPORTANT: Follow all instructions and heed all warnings printed on the bag. Keep out of reach of children. Use with caution so that you don't burn yourself.
